Michael graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. Michael has taken introductory courses in soft tissue release, manual therapy and acupuncture through the Orthopedic Division and APTEI.
Michael has experience working with a wide variety of clients, from varsity athletes to the weekend warrior. He also gained experience working with individuals who have suffered from a stroke, spinal cord injuries, cardiopulmonary disorders and individuals recovering from breast cancer. Michael’s treatment philosophy involves providing client centred care while using evidence-based practice, which includes combining patient-specific manual and exercise therapy to optimize each patient’s function and recovery.
