
Sofia Devlin has grown up in Victoria and is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s Kinesiology Program. Throughout her studies, and in her previous work as a registered kinesiologist, Sofia gained diverse skills in exercise rehabilitation, biomechanics, sports science, and injury management and prevention.
Having worked with numerous exercise rehabilitation professionals, Sofia understands the importance of structure, empathy and individualized care to support clients through any physical challenges. Sofia has also taken continuing education courses in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) where she deepened her knowledge of restoring function movement patterns through individualized rehabilitation plans.
Sofia has a background in elite sports performance and coaching and is passionate about using kinesiology to optimize performance. As a current high-performance karate athlete, she understands the value of developing functional movement patterns to best support athletic achievement, prevent injuries and maintain lifelong enjoyment of an active lifestyle. Sofia value’s tailoring training and rehabilitation programs to create a positive and motivating environment that empowers clients in their health.
Outside of her work as a Kinesiologist, Sofia loves training, being in the outdoors and spending time with her pets. Sofia also has several years of experience working as a veterinary assistant in veterinary hospitals and is passionate about all animals.
