Dr. Jason Crookham is a Sport & Exercise Medicine physician who cares for people of all ages with musculoskeletal and sport-related conditions. He helps patients stay active, recover from injury, and return to the activities they love. Dr. Crookham has advanced expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound for both diagnosis and image-guided procedures, and he enjoys teaching these skills at the University of British Columbia.

He serves as Medical Director for PWHL Vancouver and the Canadian National Wrestling Team, and has provided care for the Calgary Flames, Vancouver Whitecaps, and varsity athletes from Canadian and U.S. universities. He was also part of the medical staff at the Rio Olympics. Outside of clinic, he enjoys following his teenagers’ skiing and hockey adventures and sharing an active life with his physician wife.

Clinical interests
Special focus on ultrasound-guided treatments: platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injections for shoulder, hip, and knee arthritis; targeted hyaluronic acid injections; hydrodilatation for frozen shoulder (early treatment preferred); image-guided injections for hip, knee, and shoulder pain; and precise procedures for carpal tunnel and trigger finger.
