Michael graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2015 and from McMaster University with a Masters of Science in Physiotherapy in 2018. Michael has been a Registered Physiotherapist at RebalanceMD since 2019. Michael has taken numerous post-graduation courses, including level 3 FCAMPT courses, Institute of Clinical Excellence’s spinal manipulation course, Functional Dry Needling, and acupuncture through the Orthopedic Division and APTEI. Michael has also taken a Barbell Rehab course focused on keeping athletes lifting and exercising while injured. 

Michael has experience working with a wide variety of clients, from varsity athletes to the weekend warrior. He also gained experience working with individuals who have suffered from a stroke, spinal cord injuries, cardiopulmonary disorders and individuals recovering from breast cancer. Michael’s treatment philosophy involves providing client centred care while using evidence-based practice, which includes combining patient-specific manual and exercise therapy to optimize each patient’s function and recovery.
