
Dr. David Saliken is an orthopaedic surgeon with clinical interests in shoulder arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and reconstruction, as well as orthopaedic trauma surgery and general orthopaedics. He has been recognized with multiple teaching and academic awards, including the Dr. Hastings Mewburn Award in Orthopaedic Medicine and the R.E. Fraser Award for Excellence in Teaching. His research includes work funded by a CIHR grant to develop a patient-specific decision assistance tool to improve outcomes in reverse total shoulder replacement. In addition to his clinical and academic roles, he contributes to global outreach as a member of CAMTA in Quito, Ecuador, and serves as team orthopaedic surgeon for the Victoria Royals hockey team.
